SDK Engineer
Other Engineering
At Metica, we let game studios focus on making great games – while we take care of growing them. We're an AI-native growth partner for mobile games studios, unifying user acquisition and in-game monetisation so games grow without studios having to build that expertise in-house.
We're built by founders and an early team on their third venture together (previously built and exited to King and Apple), backed by Play Ventures, 13books Capital and Firstminute Capital. We're already working with some of the biggest names in mobile gaming, and are entering our scaling phase – which means real ownership for whoever joins us next.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced SDK engineer to own the quality, reliability and rollout of the Metica SDK across mobile game publishers, reporting to Puli Liyanagama. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant customer interaction – you'll work directly with game studios to support integrations, investigate production issues, and make sure every SDK rollout goes smoothly across multiple games.
Location is London, Lahore, Hanoi or remote. Some travel to support customer integrations may be expected.
You Will
Build and maintain our Android and iOS SDKs, and improve their reliability, stability and performance.
Support customer integrations from implementation through to production rollout.
Investigate integration issues, crashes and production incidents – and drive them to resolution with urgency.
Work directly with customer engineering teams to resolve technical issues, and own technical communication throughout each SDK rollout.
Coordinate across Product, Backend, Data Science and Customer Success to keep rollouts on track.
Improve SDK tooling, documentation and release processes.
You Need
10+ years building Android and/or iOS software, with significant experience developing and maintaining mobile SDKs.
Expert in Kotlin/Java and/or Swift/Objective-C, with a strong understanding of SDK design, versioning and backwards compatibility.
Strong Unity knowledge, including native Android/iOS integrations, and experience debugging complex production issues.
Comfortable working directly with customers and senior engineering teams, managing multiple integrations and competing priorities.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Mobile gaming or ad-tech experience (e.g. mediation platforms like AppLovin MAX or LevelPlay, Firebase/Adjust/AppsFlyer) is a plus.
