If you believe intimacy and connection deserve a seat at the table alongside fitness and mental health, you’re in the right place. Arya is a premium relationship and intimacy wellness brand helping couples strengthen their connection through guided experiences and expert-led tools. Backed by leading VCs, we’re normalizing intimacy as a core part of modern wellbeing.

Arya is a consumer subscription business with eCommerce capabilities. We have a large inventory, with a few hundred SKUs and frequent SKU/vendor updates. You will own core finance execution at Arya, ensuring our books, vendor payments, inventory accounting, and cash visibility are accurate and reliable as we scale. You'll also work directly with the founders as Arya grows into a $100 million business.

Starts part-time (15–25 hrs/week) with a clear path to full-time as transaction volume increases, this role isn’t just bookkeeping, as you’ll be expected to identify issues, improve processes, and build structure as we scale. It’s Arya’s first dedicated finance hire, providing direct exposure to founders and a clear progression to become a full-time finance lead as Arya expands.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end accounts payable for inventory and vendor spend (50+ global vendors), including invoice processing, payment scheduling, credit tracking, and maintaining clear visibility into outstanding and disputed balances.

  • Own purchase order reconciliation across orders, receipts, and invoices, including freight and landed costs. Identify and resolve discrepancies (short shipments, price variances, duplicate bills, missing credits).
  • Cohort debt financing reconciliation and monthly payback overview. Track and reconcile cohort-based debt financing, including spend attribution, repayments, and alignment with revenue.
  • Monitor budget versus actual expenses (aiming for cash-flow positivity later this year). Track budget vs. actuals across key expense categories and provide a clear monthly view of spend, variance, cash position, and upcoming obligations.

  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (or similar), including reconciliations and chart of accounts management

  • Comfortable handling ambiguity, exceptions, and high transaction volume
  • Strong attention to detail and an ownership mindset
