The Role

We’re looking for a CTO to lead our technical efforts as we enter a key phase of development. You’ll define our engineering culture, shape technical strategy, and grow a high-performing team. From game systems and architecture to AI tools and hiring, you’ll be deeply involved in everything that brings our game to life. This is a high-impact leadership role with plenty of room to help shape the future of both our game and studio.

You Will

• Set the Technical Vision – Define long-term engineering goals, architecture and processes that align with our creative vision.
• Build and Lead the Team – Hire, mentor and grow a world-class engineering team.
• Own the Roadmap – Balance shipping features with managing tech debt and scaling for future titles.
• Improve How We Work – Optimize workflows, tools and cross-team collaboration.
• Collaborate Across Functions – Represent engineering in leadership discussions and partner with external vendors when needed.
• Drive Quality and Innovation – Ensure high standards, rapid iteration and thoughtful risk-taking in all we do.

You Need

We’re open to a range of experience levels—as long as you’re talented, curious and driven to build great games. Ideally, you have:

• Experience shipping at least one game, ideally in life sim or strategy genres
• Familiarity with both PC and mobile platforms
• A strong foundation in systems design, architecture and leading engineering teams
• Passion for hands-on technical work and mentorship
• Bonus points for: fluency in Mandarin (we’re exploring Asian market strategies), experience developing content with AI tools, knowledge of blockchain/Web3 integrations
