Job: AI Applications Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring an AI Engineer focused on Speech, Audio Processing, and Voice AI systems.

This role involves building scalable voice data pipelines, ASR-based QA workflows, and audio tooling for frontier AI companies.

You will work on voice dataset creation, speaker validation, emotion tagging, and quality automation at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain audio ingestion → cleaning → tagging → QA → delivery pipelines
• Develop automated audio quality checks (SNR, clipping, noise detection)
• Integrate ASR models (Whisper or similar) for transcription validation
• Support speaker verification and dialect/emotion tagging workflows
• Structure datasets for enterprise AI training use cases
• Improve internal tools to increase data quality and turnaround time

Requirements

• Strong Python
• Experience with speech/audio processing (Librosa, torchaudio, PyDub, etc.)
• Familiarity with ASR systems (Whisper, Kaldi, SpeechBrain, etc.)
• Basic experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow)
• Experience handling datasets in AWS/GCP or similar cloud environments
• Understanding of audio formats, sampling rates, and preprocessing
