About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on AI Applications Engineer to build and deploy scalable applications that integrate AI tools into real-world workflows — from media validation and QC to analytics dashboards and gamer engagement systems.

You’ll work closely with product and data teams to design, develop, and operationalize AI-powered services.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end AI applications integrating commercial APIs and OSS models (AWS Rekognition, AssemblyAI, Whisper, ffmpeg, OpenCV, MediaPipe).
• Design clean backend APIs and data models for validation results, QC workflows, and analytics.
• Develop fast frontends in Next.js / React / Tailwind / Retool.
• Implement cloud-native deployment using AWS Lambda / CloudFront / S3 / API Gateway / SQS.
• Optimize cost, latency, and reliability of AI API calls.
• Collaborate with product owners to define thresholds, pass/fail criteria, and success metrics.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in full-stack engineering with exposure to AI APIs or media pipelines.
• Proficient in Python (FastAPI) or Node.js (Express).
• Comfortable with AI integration, not model training (you’ll use existing APIs and SDKs).
• Strong with cloud services (AWS or GCP) and CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with image/audio/video processing libraries and file-handling workflows.
• Focused on delivering quickly, iterating, and scaling prototypes to production.

Good to Have

• Experience with Retool, Supabase, Vercel, or other rapid app platforms.
• Prior startup / 0→1 product experience.
• Data visualization or dashboarding skills.
