About the Role

We are seeking a creative and driven Marketing & Community Manager to lead our efforts in Korea and support our expansion across East Asia. This role is pivotal in strengthening KGeN’s presence, driving brand visibility, revenue delivery, and community engagement in the Korean market. You will be the local face of the brand—building strong community connections, executing localized campaigns, and collaborating closely with our global team.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Localize and execute marketing campaigns in line with global strategy
  • Manage Korean social media channels, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling
  • Plan and coordinate PR activities, events, and partnerships with influencers, media, and industry stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights to optimize reach and engagement

Community

  • Drive community engagement for user acquisition campaigns targeting Korean users
  • Build and manage a network of agencies and guilds to run KOL campaigns, performance marketing, and other initiatives for revenue delivery
  • Foster and nurture a vibrant community of users, partners, and advocates
  • Organize and manage both online and offline events, meetups, and activations
  • Act as the local voice of the brand by gathering feedback and sharing insights with global teams
  • Create meaningful conversations and provide ongoing support within the community

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, community management, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of the Korean market, digital platforms, and cultural trends
  • Excellent communication skills in Korean and English
  • A creative and strategic thinker with a proven passion for community-building
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global startup environment
  • Hands-on, proactive, and excited by the 0 → 1 journey, ready to get their hands dirty
