As a Senior Game Developer (f/m/d*), you will help shape an exciting area of our company and be one of the driving forces in the development of our mobile games. Together with Product, Art, Backend, QA, Game Design, and Marketing, you will create an awesome gaming experience for our players. The passion for creating high-quality games and focus on a superior customer experience have made GameDuell one of the largest cross-platform games communities with over 130 million players and 40+ casual online skill games. Your tasks: Work on mobile skill games using Unity / C#; Participate in all aspects of the interactive software development process (design, estimation, build, testing, debugging, maintenance, support) to produce reusable and reliable code; Support test development (unit and integration tests); Collaborate closely with Product, Art, Infrastructure, Game Design, and Marketing to establish an effective production pipeline and integrate media assets; Contribute to architectural decisions. What we expect: University degree in computer engineering, computer science, game development, or similar; 5+ years professional experience with Unity on released mobile titles (Android, iOS); Expert knowledge in C# (software architecture, design patterns, CI, dependency injection, unit testing); Broad experience in game development (UI/UX, gameplay, animation, AI, audio/video, tools); Passion for continuous learning and new technologies; Fluent English mandatory. Ideally: Experience with server-based game logic; Practical knowledge of GCP and Firebase; Very high sense of ownership for code quality; Experience with release management and live operations; Knowledge of German welcome.
