PR Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a PR Executive who can move fluently across three worlds that sit inside one team: the pace and scrappiness of startup PR, the credibility and precision of tech PR, and the buzz, talent dynamics, and cultural instinct of entertainment PR.
You will support how India's media talks about microdramas as a category, help position our leadership as industry voices, support coverage for show launches and talent announcements, and assist in building the group's business and technology narrative with national, regional, and trade media.

What You Will Do

  • Support the press office. Draft and help place press releases, pitch notes, and spokesperson quotes across business, tech, and entertainment media — national, regional (including South India markets), and trade.
  • Assist with entertainment PR cycles. Support planning and execution of PR for show launches, talent signings, partnerships, and campaign moments, coordinating with artists and production houses on announcements.
  • Contribute to the business and tech narrative. Help translate funding, growth metrics, product launches, and AI initiatives into stories that land with business and technology journalists.
  • Coordinate with agency partners. Support day-to-day coordination with retained PR agencies and show-specific agencies, including briefs, calendars, and coverage tracking.
  • Build media relationships. Help maintain and grow a journalist and editor network across entertainment, startup, and technology beats; support the media list and its regional expansion.
  • Support leadership visibility. Help secure podcast placements, speaking slots, interviews, and profile features for leadership; assist with briefing docs and talking points.
  • Track and report. Support share-of-voice tracking, coverage quality scoring, and competitive monitoring; help compile reports against defined PR outcomes.
  • Support issue management. Assist with rapid-response statements, media monitoring during sensitive moments, and message discipline across spokespeople.

What We Are Looking For

  • 1–3 years in PR, ideally with some exposure across high-growth startups, technology companies, or entertainment/media/OTT.
  • Strong writing skills — press releases, pitches, and quotes that need minimal editing.
  • Some experience coordinating with PR agencies, or working within a PR agency.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and speed: able to work off a short brief and tight deadlines to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Familiarity with new-media formats and an interest in explaining them credibly to journalists.
  • Basic understanding of measurement: SOV, message pull-through, sentiment, etc.

Nice to Have (but not a must)

  • Prior experience or internship at a consumer entertainment or content platform (OTT, audio, gaming, creator economy).
  • Exposure to policy/government-facing communications or industry-body engagement.
  • Experience supporting founder-led PR programs (podcasts, keynotes, profile features).
