About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging scripts for short-form videos, micro-dramas, social media, branded content, advertisements and digital campaigns.
• Develop compelling stories, characters, hooks, dialogues and narratives that resonate with our audience.
• Create content that is culturally relevant, entertaining and relatable to India's young and diverse internet audience.
• Work closely with the Content, Creative, Marketing, Product and Design teams to develop integrated campaigns and content formats.
• Understand the audience and adapt writing style, language and storytelling based on the product, platform and target audience.
• Develop content in English, Hindi and Hinglish, with the ability to make content feel natural and conversational.
• Keep track of internet culture, social media trends, entertainment formats, memes and audience behaviour to bring fresh ideas into our content.
• Adapt stories and concepts across different formats, including video scripts, social posts, ad copies, campaign concepts and promotional content.
• Work on content for different Eloelo Group products and audiences while maintaining the respective brand voice and tone.
• Collaborate with creators, designers, video editors and other writers to take ideas from concept to final execution.
• Research audience preferences, cultural references and emerging entertainment trends to develop relevant content.
• Ensure all content is grammatically accurate, engaging, concise and aligned with creative standards.
• Review and edit scripts and content based on creative feedback, performance insights and platform requirements.
• Contribute new ideas for shows, campaigns, content series, characters and social-first formats.

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in scriptwriting, copywriting, content writing, creative writing or a similar role.
• Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills with an ability to create interesting hooks, characters, situations and dialogues.
• Excellent command of English and Hindi; strong Hinglish writing ability is highly preferred.
• Understanding of Indian pop culture, internet culture, entertainment and social media trends.
• Ability to write for different formats and audiences without losing the core narrative.
• Strong understanding of what makes content engaging, relatable and shareable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with creative, marketing, product and content teams.
• Excellent editing, proofreading and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience in OTT, entertainment, gaming, media, creator economy or consumer internet will be an added advantage.
